Classic Intro

I love classic music, like this clip. There haven't been many greater intro's to a song than Akroyd and Belushi "in the day".

You know, as many times as I have seen this skit done, redone, and over-done, I didn’t actually know that it was Akroyd and Belushi doing the singing? The famous Soul Group from my era, Samuel Moore and David Prater would be proud!

Martha and I actually saw sam and dave perform this at a revue in the zebra room at the civic center in Oklahoma City. Also appearing were Patty LaBelle and the blue belles and Otis (sitting on the dock of the bay) Redding as well as serveral other groups

Jake and Elrod, also known as "messengers from God" actually had a music album put out some years ago. Included in the lineup was my personal favorite, "Rawhide."

Elwood dude, ELWOOD

You're right I meant Elwood. Elrod is that guy who invented the religion of Scientology. You know, that science fiction writer Elrod Hubbard.

You crack me up KH! L. Ron Hubbard...but I think you knew that.

Akroyd never got credit for inventing the guido dance. History is cruel.
