Punished with a baby?

This guy is scary. A baby is punishment in his mind. Wow.

We are only seeing the tip of the iceberg of the ideology of this humanistic, smooth talking, crowd pleasing yet dangerous, far-left liberal. I wonder who the butcher, George Tiller is sending money too?

From the time of my political awareness which was roughly nine years old albeit I would say earlier but so far as to support a candidate I was an FDR, Harry Truman, JFK liberal Democrat. I remember cheering at the age of nine when President Jimmy Carter won in 1976 and crying when he lost in 1980. I remember seeing Vice President Mondale like his predecessor losing to President Ronald Reagan, and even while in uniform in 1988, I supported the Reverend (using that term loosely) Jessie Jackson in 1988. By 1992 at the age of twenty-five, I regretted not voting for President Bush the Elder and throwing my vote away on Ross Perot. With age comes wisdom and like President Reagan, “I did not leave the Democratic Party, it left me.” By 1994 I became and I started to vote for Republican candidates because they were more conservative, for a strong national defense, for smaller government, tax breaks et cetera. However and more importantly they have been at least as far back as 1980 GOP Party Platform wise PRO LIFE!

The other day a co-worker who is in her early twenties gave wondered why I would vote for Senator John McCain. I told her flatly that so long as a Democrat is PRO-ABORTION, I would never ever vote for that candidate or a member of that party. She wanted to go on about the back ally abortions, which I told her flat out are a myth. That abortion was legal in many states prior to Roe v. Wade and that most women did not die in the back alley but in the abortatoriums.

Granted, Senator McCain was not my first, second, or even third choice, but compared to Senator Clinton, and Senator Barack Hussein Obama, Jr., despite Senator McCain’s votes and positions on stem cells he is more pro-life and will be able to appoint with a Republican controlled Senate Supreme Court nominees who are also Pro-Life.

If we want to educate our young daughters, and our sons as well the absolute truth that ABORTION is MURDER!

I know I hark back to Dr. Kennedy in my post of late but when it came to the cultural mandate, the man was steadfast in proclaiming the truth. Here is yet another classic sermon for your reading leisure:

TEXT: “For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy.” —Luke 1:44

“For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.” —Psalm l39:13

“Protection of the life of the mother as an excuse for an abortion is a smoke screen. In my 36 years of pediatric surgery, I have never known of one instance where the child had to be aborted to save the mother's life. If toward the end of the pregnancy complications arise that threaten the mother's health, the doctor will induce labor or perform a Caesarean section. His intention is to save the life of both the mother and the baby. The baby's life is never willfully destroyed because the mother's life is in danger.”

In the end it's all about 'me' and 'my convenience'.

Mr. Calohan's remarks are right on target. Some of the 'liberal' Democrats he referenced back in the 60's,70's, and possibly into 80's would be viewed as too 'Conservative' for the majority of Democrats today. That is high far the party as fallen. I am sure that RFK, MLK, etc. would have never endorsed abortion, or I hope not anyway.
