Rooting for Cousin Boomer!

It has been an exciting week of sporting events for the Felich boys (all of us). Wednesday was a great Wizards match, tonight we went to see the Kansas City T-Bones play the Fargo Red Hawks.

The T-Bones and the Red Hawks are part of the independent baseball Northern League. Most of the players have been or still are major league prospects. Normally I would be rooting for the hometown T-Bones, however this night we were there to support Shari's cousin Boomer Berry who plays left field for the Red Hawks.

Boomer had a good game all around. He went 2-6, with an RBI. He just missed a homer fouling a ball 20 feet right of the poll. He chased down a few balls in the outfield and made some great throws. After the game Boomer gave each of the boys a signed ball and took a neat picture with them.

Look at those huge smiles! Got to be right up there as the Brother Felich, greatest day so far! But many more to come! And that’s providential for sure!
