O.K., this is pretty clever.

I have always been a fan albeit I seldom agree of SNL parody’s of the candidates. Tina Fey does an excellent Gov. Sarah Palin, just as Dana Carvey did George H.W. Bush, even at the expense of attempting to make conservative candidates look buffoonish. From Dan Ackroyd doing impersonations of Nixon, Carter, Dole, Phil Hartman as Reagan, and Clinton, Darrell Hammond as Clinton, Norm McDonald as Bob Dole, and Will Farrell as George W. Bush.

Granted these are parodies and to some art imitates life. However, as we know Saturday Night Live is a liberal show, with a liberal agenda, and is not always even handed. I think the audience reaction to the comedy has shown at times their depravity, just as at times it convicts me of my own sinful nature.

Growing up as a liberal the things I use to laugh at are no longer as funny, this is not to mean I do not have a sense of humor, but comedy at is best has shades of truth. I use to enjoy watching George Carlin, and thought Bill Maher were extremely funny, today by the Grace of God, I can see how totally depraved they were, and are, and how I have been transformed by the grace of God to see light in a world of darkness.

With less than a month to go in this election cycle I only pray that America wakes up and realizes that an Obama administration will likely give them an opportunity to appoint three to four Supreme Court justices if he is to serve two complete terms thus ended any attempt to overturn Roe v. Wade for years to come.
