Superior animal

This is some incredible footage on a couple levels. First, it shows the superiority of deer over canines. Second, this deer is unfazed by the human camera man in his advance upon the dogs. However if the man isn't there, I'm guessing this feisty 3-year old buck (who, based on his busted up left main beam, enjoyed a good scrap) would have gored the two yippy dogs. Now that would be an awesome video!

Cool video.

Hey, before I forget, our family will be heading out to Florida on Sunday afternoon for a vacation and plan (d.v.) to worship with you all on the following Sunday (Advent 1) when we get back. Looking forward to seeing you, Nate, and Brian and Eric will be glad to see some of the folks from Juarez this last summer.

Remind me again what time your worship/Sunday school are.

That cool video of the brave and determined deer reminds me of strong command spoken forth many times in the Acts of the Apostles. “And FIXING THEIR GAZE....” upon whoever or whatever is blocking the vision or standing in the way of the objective. So, just like the deer, we need to stay focused, fixing our gaze, never turning and running from the enemy. Also the deer showed us, “Having done all…. therefore stand firm!”

But keep in mind, we hunt and eat deer while Scraps and Fluffy are our pets; now which is the superior animal?

I will bet you a dollar to a doughnut that this was during the rut. There had to be a doe on the other side of the dogs. It shows not the feistiness of the dear, but how stupid men are when their genes take over. I hope I stated this in a manner appropriate for your esteemed blog. And, beautiful golden retreivers don't yip or yap. Chihuahuas, like the dog once owned by Pastor Brian, are yippy yappy.

I would like to have seen this guy before the left beam was broken. He'd look nice on my wall...

Jef- you've been in NJ too long if you think that's a shooter! he needs another year, THEN he can hang on your wall.

Brit- dude, many places in the world eat dog. Deer are free ranging and too smart to let people train them.

In NJ the general rule is "if it's brown, it's down"...

if you see a buck, you shoot it, because chances are, if you don't, somebody else will during shotgun season. Nobody lets bucks walk here. It's a real shame. We could have some real trophies if people would be patient. KS is looking better and better for next year...
