A sad twist...

Some time ago I blogged on my hope that President Obama would take Kathleen Sebelius off our hands in Kansas. Her adamant support from one of the most prolific abortionists, George Tiller, has been a burden to our state for the last several years. The picture above of our governor shaking hands with her good friend (to call him a "Dr." is an insult to legitimate doctors)-hands that regularly dismember nearly full term babies-literally makes me shudder when I look at it for too long.

My hope was for Obama to appoint her to the Secretary of Commerce post. Instead, he appears poised to appoint her to the Secretary of Health and Human services.

Consider what the Department of Health and Human services states as it's purpose:
THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES (HHS) is the United States government's principal agency for protecting the health of all Americans and providing essential human services, especially for those who are least able to help themselves.
Wow. What a sad and strange twist...Appoint a person who advocates the killing of babies in the womb (or partially out, as the case may well be) to a position that is supposed to help those who are least able to help themselves! Even more ironic is appointing someone who refuses to acknowledge clear scientific proof on when human life begins to a position that is supposed to champion "human services". She doesn't even know what a human being is, but will be the secretary of "human services".

It would be good for the State of Kansas to be rid of Mrs. Sebelius, but I'm afraid she'll only advance our nations downward moral spiral by moving to Washington.

I have to admit that I am a bit of a "late comer" to any "real" recognition of the horrors of abortion. I have always seen it as sort of an "out there" issue. Part of it may have to do with an incorrect view of what God has determined to be "life." I used to hold to whether or not the baby could viably live outside the womb as my litmus test for life. If it could not, I used to describe it as "potential life," but not "life." Well, I was wrong. I repent of that view and will, God willing, remain a protector of the lives of the unborn until my life has ended. What strikes me as "doubly strange" (a very "kind" way to describe it) is the inconsistentcy of our nation's world view. In the current, New Mexico case of the bodies that have been found in shallow graves, the media has stated (as of today), that 13 bodies have been found. Among that number, is the unborn baby of Ms. Valdez, a known prostitute. If she were alive and still working in her trade, there are many people who would encourage her to abort her "fetus," because of the poor prospects of the baby's future. However, now that she is dead (apparently murdered), they include that same "fetus" in the body count and refer to it as a "body" that was found in the shallow grave (with the obvious inference that it is a "human" being). This type of grossly, inconsistent hypocrisy would be laughable if we were not discussing the fact that a baby was murdered. If Ms. Valdez had ended her pregnancy at an abortion provider, no one in the media would have said much, but that baby would have been murdered just as much as it was murdered by this suspected serial killer. Such inconsistent positions are just further proof that God the Almighty's wisdom so far surpasses our own that the chasm between the two is too wide to navigate.

While I am not a theologian, I do understand that God is Sovereign. I also understand that He has not "checked out" nor turned a "blind eye" to our national sin. I do not personally understand why He purposes the horrors of abortion to continue in our nation but I do believe that none of this has "caught Him off guard." His purposes and plans will come to fruition. Maybe He is allowing us to store up wrath from Him for our arrogance, idolatry and neglect of the poor. Whatever the purpose, may God have mercy on us and turn us to Himself.

Can our finite minds even imagine the judgment that awaits this disgraceful and disgusting Hitler want-a-be, George Tiller! And baby killers like Sebelius, who would actually shake this man’s evil hand, smiling into that evil face, knowing all too well, she did nothing to stop, but for sure promoting such heinous acts of infanticide. God’s judgment will be up her as well. And now she is going to be ask to be responsible for our nations “health and human services”? What hypocrisy

Is this not the same President while at the Saddleback Forum when asked about when do Human Rights begin, replied, "...answering that question with specificity is above my pay grade." So taking Kitty Kat out of Kansas and sending her to D.C. under this current regime makes sense considering the position of this administration when it comes to the issue of Life; Perhaps she can take Tiller with her too and end once and for all the late term abortions in Kansas so that we may no longer be referred to as Bloody Kansas! I am sure the Kat will justify abortion as a cost cutting measure to avoid future payouts in Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security. The Reprobates truly know how to reveal themselves!

Woody's Brother says: "Services", i.e., euthanasia and other similar acts. And we thought Jesse James, John Wesley Hardin, and Billy the Kid were killers . . .
