Dropping like a rock

Virtually all of President Obama's vital poll numbers are dropping like a rock. The two most telling polls are job approval and leadership ability.

Job approval- 60% approved in February. Now his approval is at 47% (only 10% higher than mean, old, nasty, incompetent, George W. Bush).

Leadership ability- 64% thought he was a good leader in February. Now only 45% think so.

Check other interesting polling info here.

Polls can be deceiving, no doubt, but still, these numbers represent the definition of "dropping like a rock". We're talking less than 6 months.

Why the swing? I think it's because Obama seemed, to quite a few people anyways (not me), to want to go slightly left of center legislatively. Instead he has gone radically far left...farther than any president ever. He's a liberal socialist plain and simple. Rightfully, he's freaking people out.

Yeah, and his Chicago-style politics is really showing his and his administration's true colors. I love how they are calling anyone who disagrees with Obama, Pelosi and Reid, "Nazis", when, in reality, the democrat party's agenda more closely resembles the Nazi party agenda than any since- rabid hatred of big business (so they must take it over to make it work "correctly"), secularism, extreme environmentalism (to the point of idol-worship!), proponents of abortion and euthanasia for those in the society who are not "productive", and so on, and so on...

So keep talking Pelosi, Obama, Reid, and all you other statists! You are just proving how radically out out of touch you have become.

But let me tell you how I really feel!

If Obama is a "liberal socialist," then what's a "conservative socialist," or a middle-of-the-road socialist? :-)

Good point Jim, but believe it or not I do think there can be various gradations of socialists. Sorry if that's not official terminology.

When I call Obama a "liberal" socialist I am thinking of his social agenda as being very liberal- his view of human life (not just on abortion, the elderly as well), gay rights, that kind of thing. The Socialist part refers, in my mind anyways, to his basic commitment to wealth distribution.

So, I think people are freaked out by the radical nature of his ethics (as revealed by the health care debate) and his wealth re-distribution plan (also revealed by his health care debate and propose tax structure).

That's what I mean by the label.

The Big Lie (German: Große Lüge) is a propaganda technique. The expression was coined by Adolf Hitler in his 1925 autobiography Mein Kampf for a lie so "colossal" that no one would believe that someone "could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously".

Nazism, officially in German as National Socialism (German: Nationalsozialismus), refers to the ideology and practices of the National Socialist German Workers’ Party or NSDAP under Adolf Hitler, and the policies adopted by the dictatorial government of Nazi Germany from 1933 to 1945.

What we have Obamaism or is it Soetoroism?

If you go to you will see the allegations regarding the birth certificate, birthplace, actual name, and citizenship issues involving this President.

So bailing, buying and gobbling up failed business socializing medicine and having control of over 80% of the news media makes the “Big Lie” a reality besides most people have never read the Constitution of the United States so something like oh I don’t know…

Age and Citizenship requirements - US Constitution, Article II, Section 1
No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty-five years, and been fourteen years a resident within the United States.

Of course really in this world the only Truth is the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

I mainly meant the observation to be amusing -- I've noticed in some of the local papers that there are never just "conservatives," they're always "far-right conservatives" or some such. There's always an adjective. (Although I've seen it less after I brought the practice to the attention of one of the newspaper's editors.)

But your substantive point is fair enough. After all, "democratic socialists" and "national socialists" are well-known labels used by those types of socialists themselves. So I suppose there could be "liberal socialists."

All of this criticism of The Obama is just plain mean-spirited, racist, misogynist, un-American, fascist, pro-Nazi, red necked, homophobic hate speech. I'm deeply offended; however, I will do my patriotic duty and report this blog to Frau Pelosi, Minister of Disinformation.
