The Adidas Busenitz

In the new category of "Reep approved products" comes the Adidas Busenitz shoe.

I have long been a fan of Adidas in general with the Samba being my all time favorite.

My wife's third cousin, Dennis Busenitz, is a professional skateboarder who has helped to design a new Adidas shoe called the Adidas Busenitz Pro. It's a sweet shoe, I just got my own pair yesterday.
To make his new shoe, Busenitz combined the existing Adidas models Copo Mundial, Gazelle, and Samba. The result is a sweet shoe that makes he who wears very cool.

Does this mean you are going to take up skateboarding? You’re dangerous enough on the soccer field, a courageous population control specialist, daring enough in the pulpit, bold enough to do a rap song at Moody, but just can’t imagine you on a skateboard.

oh this is just too cool. There is something about the Busenitz name I must say. While I was up at Moody, the student newspaper puts out an April fools edition and on the front cover one year was this:
"Moody Has Changed It's Name To Busenitz Bible Institute"

I was just so proud!

Not to burst anyone's bubble or creativity per se, (Sorry I'm a NIKE guy nothing wrong with Adidas guy)So what is the price per unit, the retail markup price, and the price the average worker in China, Vietnam, or Indonesia make per unit?

Skateboarding? Probably not a good move if you, or the wife, want more kids. Though, you might be better, "equipped," then, for the choir.

The shoes Busenitz used to design this shoe are all soccer shoes. The Busenitz looks very much like an indoor soccer shoe with some special padding for skateboarders.

I have no interest whatsoever in skateboarding, but they hybrid look allows for my wearing, and my willingness to shell out the $70 they cost...

No interest in skateboarding? Think of the possibilities...skateboarding to the office....

Too bad you shelled out $70 for those shoes. Now you have no reason to invite your wife's third cousin for Christmas (Kidding.).

The bad thing is that $70 is cheap for those kinds of shoes.

Darren: By the way, why did Moody's student newspaper do something like that as a prank? I guess what I'm saying is why was the, "Busenitz," name significant then?

My sister worked for Adidas for a number of years. She was able to send me a lot of sample shoes, one of which was an early skateboard model.

Most of the time I wear Adidas step-in sandals. These I actually paid for. Fourteen dollars at Costco. They are great!

Hmm. What product might be attached to my name? Probably not a cool shoe. It would probably have something to do with an uncomfortable itch in an unmentionable location.

May all of your board meetings be free of little wheels!
