Two Passions

I can't get out to hunt again until Tuesday morning so I took a break from sermon prep to get some practice in. This picture reveals two specific things I am passionate about this time of year!!

I might rib a Yankees fan I know from time-to-time, but, during the regular baseball season, I really don't care one way or the other about the Yankees. However, as long as they're in the World Series, I hope they win. And for all those Royals fans who heckle you about the Yankees and their chances in the World Series, ask them where is their team is at this time of year. Just remind those people, in Christian love, that KC had over 90 loses in 2009. That's why their team isn't in the World Series.

By the way, seeing you in that position, in October, I don't know that I'd want to be a Royals fan anyway.

That's almost a corollary to George Carlin's recommendation that in football, in the fourth quarter, the players are allowed to use knives.

Almost.

Since I am not a Yankees fan nor a baseball or sports fan, I kind a liked Brian’s post. But who was he referring too….. not you!
Hope you get a real trouphy this year. Then you can put your Yankee's teeshirt on the rack.
