Now that takes some guts. You'd think there was a mathematician in that, because it could've gone terribly wrong.
I was hoping to see him miss! I think I may need biblical counseling! :-)
It is fake, someone sent me this a few months back and as cool as it is, sorry to say, some computer guy has out done it.
If that's fake...and flawlessly fake at that... then what's to be said about anything an audience sees on TV? But, that brings another video incident to mind for me. Years ago Bruce Willis was in a series called, "Moonlighting," which I never watched. But, I remember reading that at that time, he was supposedly, noticably losing his hair and was freaking out about it. So, instead of wearing a hair piece on the show, some computer guys were brought in to digitally enhance Willis' hair, frame-by-frame. Sick. So, who knows what we're seeing on TV, or on youtube.com.
That is way cool. Reminds me of those Gatorade commercials (like the one with Mike Vick throwing the ball out of a stadium). It's amazing what they can do these days with video. Here's a writeup of the watersliding clip: http://www.snopes.com/photos/advertisements/megawoosh.asp
