You know, as I watched this snip-it unfold, it reminded me of how important our Home Fellowship Groups are. To hear God’s Word proclaimed on the Lord’s Day is indeed a blessing, but to have all week long to process it, to think about what was said and how I can apply this Word to my life, is indeed a privilege. Then the culmination is the honor of taking your notes from the past Lord’s Day worship, and expressing individual thoughts in our Home Fellowship groups.
I liked what this snip-it said, “Home Worship can be messy!” But God will bless every major mess and make it magnificent masterpiece when it’s done for His glory! “I will build MY church and the gate of Hell will not prevail against it!” (Matthew 16:18) “The Word of God can never be imprisoned.” (II Tim 2:8)

Hmmm. Simplicity of prayer and the word. Sounds like a sermon series to me. The truth is, it is really that simple if we will let it be that simple. Stay out of the way and let the word and prayer take over.
