This must happen more than dog owners will admit

It's been a while since I've posted anything dog related. This has to happen more than dog owners care to admit.

I am sorry, without sound, or a little sarcastic dialog, it was difficult to get the full impact of the message you were trying to convey? Big Dog running beside truck, other dog thrown from truck, other dog bite dirt, dumb dog think he’s cat and role in dirt, big dog laugh at dumb dog? Big dog wins again.

Sorry Woody. Let me make it clearer- Dogs are stupid.

I'll let you decided what that makes people who own dogs :)

Wow, now that was below the belt! Everyone else’s dogs maybe stupid, but ours are brilliant! Our old 13 year Westie, Micki, doesn’t get excited about anything anymore. But our 6 year old Westie, Minnie, thinks she can climb a tree after a tree-rat. It’s really cool when I blow one out of a tree, and the second the nasty rodent hits the ground, Minnie grabs it by the neck and gives it a violent shaking you won’t believe. Yep, just last Saturday the latest tree-rat victim was just gut shot and that made it really mad. As it hit the ground and Minnie took hold of the body, not the neck, and this angry squirrel grab hold of her face with all fours, and bit her right on the nose and the ride was on! You should have seen the pursuing fight. Poor Minnie yepping in pain, jumping up and down, rolling on the ground, and the angry tree-rat holding on for life, putting the poor dog into a relentless state of awful torment. This nasty varmint wasn’t letting go! But I was there for the rescue! I dropped kicked the vermin right off her face, fortunately I did miss, and poor Minnie went running and yapping for dear life back inside the house. So you see the moral of this story, I better kill the dude before it hits the ground. But have no fear, Minnie is back and more determined than ever to root out every nasty tree-rat that dares to venture on to our property. It was funny, but Cheri wasn’t a bit happy with the blood all over Minnie. By the way, I didn’t tell Cheri it probably more Minnie’s blood than the nasty tree-rat.
