God's Greatest Statement

Here's my "Easter" sermon from yesterday. I have preached it twice before (2001 and 2005) at Redeemer. It gets longer every time.

"God's Greatest Statement"

“God’s Greatest Statements” was powerfully proclaimed on 3/27/2005 and it was even more powerful 4/4/2010. Interesting that our second Easter at Redeemer, on 4/16/2006 was also from Matthew 28:1-10, entitled “The Seven John’s”, the third Easter was entitled, “And They Keep Coming”, the fourth Easter service, on 3/23/08, was back in Matthew 28:1-10, entitled “Two Greatest Burdens in Life”, on Easter 4/12/09, from Matthew 27:62-66 and Matthew 28:1-10, “Why Does the Resurrection Really Matter?” I gotem all! And They Keep Coming!

So simple and yet so profound!

Dear Pastor Tony, in preparing for our mission Moldova trip, Pastor Pavel told me to prepare a powerful Easter message, for the Russian speaking believers it is their tradition to preach the Easter message for several weeks following Resurrection Day. Bet you can guess what I have picked?
I have heard about preachers stealing from other Pastors sermons, but this is a first for me! I have always preached my own thoughts, but this one, I just couldn't help! Ever since I heard you preach this life changing sermon 5 years ago, the message has stayed in my heart. So I will take Pastor Tony's Easter Message to Russia and the words will go forth, and accomplish His will!
God’s Greatest Statement will be carried in love and delivered with passion! All for His glory!
