Another Surprise Performance

I didn't post the Macy's "Random Act of Culture" where a choir of professionals were hidden amongst shoppers at a mall in Philadelphia and suddenly broke out with Handel's "Hallelujah Chorus". It went viral so quickly through Facebook and email that I figured Reep readers would have seen it already. It was an awesome occurrence to say the least.

Well, here's another one from a couple weeks ago in a food court at a mall somewhere in the U.S. Again, it's pretty neat. It gave me the goosebumps.

My sincere hope regarding these events is for people to actually consider what the song means. It comes from the greatest musical composition in history, based on the very words of Scripture.

The kingdom of this world
Is become the kingdom of our Lord,
And of His Christ, and of His Christ;
And He shall reign for ever and ever,
For ever and ever, forever and ever....

Wow, I had heard about this, and believe me, I was so wonderfully blessed that you presented it to us. Unbelievably powerful! I had tears in my eyes as each stanza became more profound and as each voice was raised to the glory of the Lord. As you shared Sunday, “Life is Christ even unto the lost and He shall reign forever and ever!” Even unto the unrighteous, Life is Christ and HE SHALL REIGN!

Preparing my own heart for tonight's mission committee meeting, I wanted to listen again. And what a blessing it is to give praise to our most High, King of Kings and Lord of Lord's!
