You have to hear this. The first ever rap about the Heidelberg Catechism (a historic Reformed confession).
To listen, go here. You'll have to look at the post to see where to click and listen. The lyrics are printed on the blog post from C.J. Mahaney. The artist is Curtis Allen, a.k.a "Voice". As a former rapper myself, I can say this brother is a solid lyricist. Check out his album here.
Great stuff.

"As a former rapper myself. . ."???
Why Zach, I'm shocked you didn't know of my past as an MC. I had a few posts with one of my raps, but the link seems to be broken now. I'll send you a sample from my days as a lyricist...
what was your rap name? Sicilian Ice?? The Notorious P.A.S.T.A.? Snoop Olive Oil? Do tell!
Nice Jeff..Very bold. You're very lucky I'm not in "the scene" any more..I'd stick a few of my homies on your sorry Jersey...
Well..anyways...They called me the "GAR". You need no further info that that. Sucker MC's can call me "Sire".
GAR? Guido And Reformed? Gnocchi And Rigatoni? Garlic And Risotto? The possibilities are endless!
If you were not pisano I would be offended (and calling my cousin Louie to pay you a visit).
Don't doubt the deffness of the jams I once produced.
Had I not been called to the pulpit, I'd be churning out beats old school.
Okay, have to confess, that was powerful! And also the first Rap song I have ever endured myself to partake of. It was clever and indeed, “the word went forth!” I would bet the Lord Jesus, stood and smiled, clapped with the beat and the Angles probably did a little glory-rocken’ with Him.
Worthy also of consideration is Shai Linne in "The Greatest Story Ever Told" (from MTW GoGlobal). Note also the cool Luther picture on his tee-shirt. http://vimeo.com/16786806
