Robbed Hell- some good satire!

Now this is some clever satire spoofing Rob Bell's promotional video for his book. Of course, good satire reveals the fallacy of the thing it's spoofing-

That was some mighty powerful forward thinking! Having to deal with so many difficult questions the youth of today have to “in your face” face, I think many times, these young aggressive pastors (note, I didn’t use the word “progressive”) speak the Word in truth and in love so much better than a seasoned pastors who have become far to caviler with their glib answers of simplicity. Our youth are searching for answers to many complex issues, not some trite overused and overdone cliché. We are blessed to have Brian, thinking forward, being ready to give reasons for the hope that is within him, yet with gentleness and reverence!

I just came across this and thought it was pretty good. Rob Bell's new version of...

Romans 9

1 I am speaking the truth in Christ — I am not lying; my conscience bears me witness in the Holy Spirit — 2 that I have great sorrow and unceasing anguish in my heart. 3 For I could wish that I myself were accursed and cut off from Christ for the sake of my brothers, my kinsmen according to the flesh. 4 But then I remind myself that no one will be finally accursed and cut off from Christ and that puts a swift end to the great sorrow and unceasing anguish in my heart. 5 As it is written, “Jacob I loved, and Esau I loved too.”

6 What shall we say then? Is God unloving? By no means! 7 For he says to Moses, “I will have mercy on everyone, and I will have compassion on everyone.”
