Memorial Stone for Dad

A very strange pendulum swing in emotions from yesterday to today.

From laughing and joking about my 40th birthday back to the reality of my father's death three months ago.

We had hoped to be celebrating his 80th along with my 40th, but it was not to be-for me anyways. My father has already begun his eternal celebration.

My mother had this memorial stone designed. I think she did very well. I love how Redeemer is in the background.

Lovely tribute. Sad for you all that you don't get to celebrate with him, but happy for him...

In all seriousness - not sure why you dad's grave marker is there. Are you starting a cemetery at the church?

Redeemer is next to the Pleasant Valley Cemetery.

What a joy to see this glorious memorial marker pay tribute to such a great man and good friend. Save a spot close to Saint Tony for old Woodster! I know Tony is in glory, but we sure miss his wisdom and keen wit. We will witness the stone this coming Lord’s Day.
