The Irony of Armstrong

Am I the only one who would find it ironic if it was discovered that Lance Armstrong's doping (which he has adamantly denied for years...until his upcoming interview with Oprah) is actually what caused the cancer he is credited with fighting so valiantly. Indeed- live strong. We are a complex species.

What a disgusting jerk. As far as I am concerned, he is getting just what he deserves. This one time when Oprah said it right. "He didn't come clean!" Even Oprah did feel sorry for him. This outspoken atheist has denied and lied for 10 years. No one will remember his "victories" but I do hope his cheating and depraved character will never be forgotten. He is angry and bitter, let him stew is his own vomit. He wants to blame everyone, but like you said Tony, he is the one who is to blame! Now he wants to try and make it all better but telling the media "it wasn't my fault! Let me have my status back and I will tell you who else doped." I pray someday he will come truly clean. But at his stage in life, I think his pride has carried him too far into the pits of hell. We know the only peace he will ever find is falling down before the Lord and repent in total brokenness.

There was a book written a few years ago, "LA Confidential," by David Walsh that suggests all the performance enhancing drugs e took in his early career is what caused his cancer. This book was written while he as still competing but no one noticed. The Postal service doping program was pretty extensive.
This book came out in Britain but no one started to notice until Floyd Landis and Tyler Hamilton came out. But still no one believed until It was suggested George Hincapie verified the story.
In other news, it has been suggested Rush Limbaugh went deaf because of his pain killer addiction.
