Holy Cow! I read this whole post, with all its' specifics (a real task for a non-believer [in hockey]), not because I have the least bit of interest in pro-hockey; but, because I couldn't figure out how a post about pro-hockey in the beginning could end-up with a picture of Abe Vigoda in a suit on the bottom - It's because Abe Vigoda is a "rat" in, "The Godfather"!
